Community Transit Adjusts July 3-4 Schedules

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Community Transit (CT) will operate on a Sunday bus schedule on Friday, July 3, 2026, for Independence Day (observed). Regular weekday service will resume on Saturday, July 4, 2026, according to a July 7, 2026, announcement.

The announcement also noted that 6,000 students in Snohomish County received youth ORCA cards during the 2025-26 academic year. This is part of a broader initiative to promote transit use among young people.

Community Transit is also holding a public hearing on July 2, 2026, to comment on the draft 2026-2031 Transit Development Plan. The agency is celebrating its 50th anniversary of connecting Snohomish County, having started with a small fleet of leased buses.
