Community Transit is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special event featuring one of its original buses, named 'Bluebell,' which is returning to service for a limited time. The vintage bus, one of the agency's first vehicles, will be available for free rides and educational exhibits at the Everett Transit Center starting June 23, 2026. Visitors can step aboard to learn about Community Transit's key milestones since its founding in 1976. The celebration aligns with June being designated as Ride Transit Month, with additional events planned throughout the month. Community Transit will also operate a Sunday bus schedule on July 3, 2026, for Independence Day (observed), with regular service resuming on July 4.
