Multiple road closures and lane reductions begin this week for maintenance and utility work in Snohomish County.

Starting Thursday, Sept. 10, both directions of the HOV Interstate 5 on- and off-ramps at 41st Street/Broadway will close from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Snohomish River Bridge on State Route 529 will have its left lane closed daily from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 11. Southbound State Route 99 will alternate with flaggers at Russell Way/North Manor Way from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. The closures are scheduled by WSDOT for maintenance and utility work. Detours will be signed for the I-405 closures at Northeast 85th Street, which will begin Friday, Sept. 11, and end Monday, Sept. 14. Work on SR 534 between I-5 and SR 9 will alternate traffic nightly through Thursday morning, Sept. 10, weather permitting.
