WSDOT has announced multiple road closures and lane restrictions affecting Everett-area highways this week. The left lane of southbound SR 529 near the Snohomish River Bridge will close daily from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 9-11. Southbound SR 99 will alternate with flaggers at Russell Way from 9 p.m. Sept. 10 to 5 a.m. Sept. 11. Overnight closures will also affect I-405 and SR 527 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sept. 10-11.
These closures are for routine maintenance and utility work. The Snohomish River Bridge lane closure is scheduled for daily maintenance, while SR 99 and I-405 work involves utility installations. SR 527 closures will occur nightly through Sept. 11. Drivers are advised to expect delays and plan alternate routes during affected times.
