Port, Clubs, Sound Experience Host Maritime Career Day

Forty-five students from Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County visited the Port of Everett on August 7 for a maritime career exploration day, including a sail aboard the historic tall ship Adventuress. The event, organized by the Port of Everett, Sound Experience, and Boys & Girls Clubs, included tours of Waterfront Place and the Seaport, a demonstration of vessel haulout operations, and hands-on maritime skills practice aboard the Adventuress. Port Commissioner Glen Bachman and Boys & Girls Clubs Director Jordyn Creager both highlighted the importance of connecting youth with local career opportunities in the maritime industry.
